Apple Confirms September 12th Event Probably Regarding iPhone 5: It’s Almost Here

Previously, there were reports saying that Apple would release the next iPhone on a September 12th event. Now, the September 12th event has been officially confirmed by Apple Inc. Apple has sent out invites to media on September 4th to confirm the September 12th event, which only says "It’s almost here" with a shadowed “5” underneath the September 12 date. The event will begin at 10 a.m. in San Francisco.

From this invitation, we could mostly be sure that the company would debut its next iPhone on that day.

From the invitation, we might get some detailed information about the next generation of iPhone. The first is of course the release date, which is most probably September 12th, at least on that day Apple would introduce something about the next iPhone.

Secondly, according to the shadow of the number “5”, we could boldly guess that the next generation of iPhone would be named with a “5”, mostly likely iPhone 5

Thirdly, Apple typed “It’s almost here” on the invite, which might remind us the official shipment of the next iPhone. Mentioning the official availability of the next iPhone, there were reports which indicated that the shipment of the iPhone 5 would be nine days after the September 12th event. That's to say September 21st shipment of iPhone 5. And combined with the words “It’s almost here” on the invitation, we could also get to know that the previous report about the shipment of iPhone 5 might be exactly the fact.

I would like to provide more up-to-date information about the next generation of iPhone. So, you just need to mark the date and stay tuned here.

Apple iPhone 5 is Reported to Be Released on A September 12th Event

For the official release of Apple’s next iPhone, probably named as iPhone 5, there’re many speculations. At present, the most reliable information about the official introduction is that the iPhone 5 would be released this fall, with no specific date. But now, according to the latest report from Reuters, who cited their news from iMore, the next Apple iPhone may get unveiled at a major September 12th event.
Apple iPhone
"(Reuters) - Apple Inc is gearing up to unveil a new product at a major September 12 event, a source familiar with the plan said, presaging the long-awaited launch of the redesigned iPhone."

According from the source, the September 12th date may shift. Taking peak holiday shopping season into consideration, the company is mostly to make the gadget to hit store shelves around this period.

As for the features of the new iPhone, it is said that the next iPhone would help revolutionize the mobile industry with a thinner phone body. The larger screen display with higher screen resolution let users watch HD videos on iPhone 5 freely and easily. Just like the Retina Display screen on the new iPad, the new iPhone would surely produce satisfactory visual effect for users. The source also indicates that the device would have a smaller dock connector.

Get iOS 6 features and see what features your Apple devices could run

Apple devices
With the approaching of 2012 Apple WWDC, the guessing for the upcoming iOS 6 and the next Apple iPhone has been even fiercer. The iPhone 5 is said to be released mostly this September. Apart from iPhone 5, the iOS 6 has also attracted people’s eyes. People want to know what features iOS 6 would bring and what features their Apple devices could run. If you’re one of them, this post would be right for you.

So you're eagerly awaiting iOS 6 in the fall, but you'd like to know just how many features you'll end up skipping if you cling on to your existing iPad, iPhone or iPod touch for one more generation. Apple has gone to the trouble of alerting would-be upgraders just what features they'll get when they check for the update this fall, and we've compiled it in a chart for an at-a-glance view of what you'll need. The short answer: you'll want an iPhone 4S if you're craving every iOS 6 feature. Some feature gaps are defined by obvious differences like the absence of cellular hardware, but the performance limits of the iPhone 3GS or fourth-generation iPod touch turn their upgrades into a patchwork. There's also a pair of questions about iPod touch support and whether or not "iPhone 4 or later" explicitly rules out the media player; we'll update should we know more. Either way, it's evident that Apple is bending over backwards to support burgeoning markets, but also that anyone who bought in 2010 or earlier is feeling the pressure to pick up something new -- especially original iPad owners, who can't upgrade at all.

iPad trademark lawsuit between Apple and Proview begins in China

Apple iPad
Mentioning Apple, people would always think about its amazing products and service like iPhone, iPad, iPod, etc. Recently, the upcoming iPad 3 has become a hot topic for its excellent hardware improvement, like the amazing full HD 2048 by 1536 Retina screen display, which produces better visual effect for you to watch full HD movies on iPad 3. But iPad 3 is not the only thing that has got many eyes currently. The iPad trademark lawsuit between Apple and Proview also becomes a hot focus around the world. On Thursday, the iPad trademark lawsuit between Apple and Proview started to trial in Shanghai.

Shenzhen Proview Technology claims ownership over the iPad name but Apple says it bought the rights to the name in China and other countries in 2009. Apple says Proview failed to transfer the rights in mainland China as agreed.

The Shanghai Pudong New Area People's Court rejected a request by Shenzhen Proview Technology to stop Apple from selling iPads in the city. The court said it could not support Proview's application because no ruling has been made on whether Apple has violated Proview's exclusive right to use the iPad trademark. A lawsuit over the right to use the trademark in China is still under the second instance trial at Guangzhou people's higher court, which is scheduled to hold a hearing on Wednesday.

In Shanghai's Apple flagship store, shop assistants said some customers have come to ask about the lawsuits, but they have not seen any changes on the sales of the iPad products these days

"We sell as many iPads as usual and I don't think the lawsuits have impacted the sales of the products," said a shop assistant who spoke on condition of anonymity.
