The rumors and reports about a Facebook phone have gone hot.
All Facebook addicts are longing to find such smartphones. Very recently, some
freshly leaked details for an upcoming HTC
Myst seem to confirm rumors of a new "Facebook phone."
The specs leaked from Unwired
View line up with the so-called Facebook smartphone rumored before. As reported,
HTC and AT&T will again collaborate on an Android smartphone exclusively
designed for those Facebook addicts. Currently, of course, there are only some
leaked specs of this smartphone, no confirmed date of the official release of
Facebook smartphone.
Hardware details for the HTC Myst apparently include a
1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB RAM, and 16GB of internal storage.
Additionally, the handset could feature a 4.3-inch 720p HD display, a
5-megapixel rear camera, and a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera. It is unknown
whether the rear camera will employ an Ultrapixel sensor like the upcoming HTC One, most probably not.
There's no indication either if the HTC Myst will feature a
dedicated Facebook button. While the previous "Facebook phone," the
HTC Cha Cha, offered a portrait QWERTY keyboard, this handset appears to be a
touch-only experience. Rounding out the specifications, the phone may include
the requisite fare of connectivity options including Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, LTE,
and HSDPA.
The smartphone should run Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, too, and
come with preinstalled Facebook apps such as Facebook Messenger and Instagram.
