With more and more apps, videos and photos planted into
iPhone, the low storage of iPhone has been complained a lot. And Apple has paid
great attention to this in recent iPhone releases since iPhone 7. According to the latest
reports from TrendForce, the upcoming new iPhone – let’s call it iPhone 8
currently (since it might be iPhone 7S or any other name Apple likes), will
dump its low-storage options and directly start from 64GB in storage, with the
top storage being 256GB for saving photos, video clips, and apps.
Actually, this isn’t the first time that Apple has abandoned
low-storage option and improved the storage to higher level. When Apple
released the iPhone 7, it ditched the 16GB-storage iPhone and started from the
32GB version. Now, the next generation of iPhone is reportedly to abandon the
32GB option and provide even higher storage from 64GB.
