Sony to release Sony Xperia C670X with a 4.8in 1080p screen and Snapdragon 600?

2013 has been a very productive year for mobile electronic products for Sony. Just on the beginning of 2013, Sony released Xperia Z and Xperia Tablet Z to celebrate the new year. On the MWC 2013, Sony showed off the Xperia ZL and the Xperia Tablet Z, though no unannounced models. But unannounced models are starting to pile up in the rumor mill, the latest is the Sony Xperia C670X.

The newly rumored models of Sony smartphones could be originated to the models of Sony Xperia series. Recently on some pages there appeared Sony C680X. As we all know, the Xperia ZL model name is the C650X, while the Xperia Z is model named C660X. Thus it is quite normally for people to wondering whether there would be C670X. As for the possibility, such kind of guess is mostly reliable, according to a tipster who told XperiaBlog.net.

A rendered frontal image of the Sony Xperia C670X has been leaked online. Still, if it's real, judging by 4.8” diagonal of the screen, we estimate the phone will measure 133.7 x 70.1mm. That’s slightly shorter but wider than the HTC One (137.4 x 68.2 mm). The Sony C670X has no hardware buttons on the front, which accounts for the height difference. The C670X reportedly will have a 4.8” 1080p screen, a Snapdragon 600 chipset with a quad-core Krait 300 CPU at 1.8GHz, a 13MP camera Exmore RS camera and will run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Judging from these rumored specs, the C670X sounds like an HTC One competitor.

Another guess about this new smartphone is that will the C670X/C680X duo relate to each other as the Xperia Z / ZL (C650X/C660X)? It’s yet to see in the future for the official details.

Sony Xperia Tablet Pictures Re-leaked to Show More Features

More pictures of Sony’s rumored Xperia branded Android tablet have been leaked online to provide a better and much clearer view of this device for the curious. Rumored named under Xperia brand, the new tablet looks very similar to its predecessor Tablet S, but much glossier. As labeled in the Xperia brand, the tablet steps closer to Sony's smartphone family with a texturized backing likely to keep fingertips happy. The tablet would own preset wallpapers of Xperia smartphones and come with Timescape UI, which seems to indicate Sony is going to union the design style of its tablet and smartphone.

The Xperia Tablet features a Magnesium-Aluminium tablet body, thus helping to reduce its weight to 570 grams. The 9.4-inch display with 1280x800-pixel resolution remains unchanged from the Tablet S, producing amazing video experience for users to watch HD videos on Xperia tablet. Different from its predecessor, the new Xperia tablet is said to rock Nvidia's Tegra 3 SoC, probably running at 1.3GHz. Besides, this new tablet is a dual-camera device, which features an 8MP main camera for video shooting and a 1MP front camera for video chatting.
