Samsung announced waterproof and dust-resistant Galaxy Xcover 2 smartphone with excellent performance underwater

The concern about Samsung has been mostly put on the upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S IV. Right before the official release of Samsung Galaxy S IV, Samsung has brought another handset to comfort its fans, the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2. The new smartphone is a waterproof and dust-resistant handset with yet powerful hardware and software configurations. The excellent waterproof performance makes this smartphone a dive worthy smartphone. The Xcover 2 can survive under up to 1m of water for as long as 30 minutes and take 720p underwater footage @ 30fps with its 5MP camera. Compared to other waterproof smartphones like Xperia Z, the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2 doesn’t get the top-of-the-line specs.
