The May Samsung Galaxy S lll retains Home key and adopts 5-row screen icons design with HD resolution

Upon the latest report from Korean Digital Daily, according to the internal source of Samsung, it has been said the Samsung has decided to retain the Home key on its upcoming Samsung Galaxy S lll, and the user interface would adopt 5-row design to display its screen icons. Much exciting thing about Samsung Galaxy S lll is that it has been rumored that the new smartphone would come in HD screen resolution which is said to even compete with iPhone. As for the much anticipated release date of this smartphone, it is reported to be the beginning of May.

The report said that in the increasingly furious competition of smartphone market, many manufacturers nowadays adopts no-key design on the front of smartphones, just like the first Android 4.0 ICS Galaxy Nexus. But there are still some manufactures who configure their smartphones with a bigger HOME key at the bottom of the front face of phone, just like the cross-boundary product Galaxy Note. These two designs seem to have balanced the market. But the defaulted three virtual keys provided by Android 4.0 ICS somewhat makes phones possible to have larger screen display or weight less. So, whether Galaxy S lll’s Home key would make its way in the market is still unknown.

Besides, due to the Android 4.0 ICS, Galaxy Nexus and other flagship smartphones provides only 4-row of screen icons, which reduces miss-operation and make icons bigger and straightforward enough for operating. But the Galaxy S lll adopts 5-row screen icon display design thanks its higher screen resolution and larger screen size. Rumors from Korean news site Digital Daily (English translation) claim that the Galaxy S III will come with a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with a resolution soaring to 1280 x 720. With large screen display and 1080P video playback, it would be a good choice for you to watch HDmovies on Galaxy S lll.

And for other specs of this smartphone, there has been little. But the company has obviously hinted that the Galaxy S lll may not support 3D technology, thus if you want to watch 3D movies with Galaxy S lll, you may get disappointed.

Well, come back for more latest and detailed information about Galaxy S lll. I would like to share you more. You are also welcomed to leave your own opinion upon your own anticipations towards this smartphone.
