Sony has confirmed to release its new
flagship Sony C6603 Yuga on the coming CES 2013. Not long after the confirmation, there’s
report that claimed the new flagship would be officially named as Xperia Z
L36i/h/a (the letters after L36 refer to different regions). Also, some new
pictures of this new smartphone have been leaked online. As reported, this new smartphone
would provide waterproof and dustproof functions, quad-core processor, 5"
large screen display, etc.
5-inch
FHD touchscreen
The new Sony Xperia Z L36i will come with a
5-inch FHD IPS touchscreen with 1920x1080
pixels screen resolution and 400ppi.
What’s more, the new smartphone would import OptiContrast technology, which adds a special coating to lower the
light reflection of screen and improve touch-control accuracy. The image
contrast and color saturation have been improved greatly. Thus, whether you’re
going to view image or watch 1080P movies on Sony Xperia Z L36i, you could get satisfactory experience.
Additionally, Sony Xperia Z L36i would add Mobile Bravia Engine 2 image engine and
White Magic display technology to
improve the display effect. The Android 4.1.2 OS and brand-new Sony Xperia UI
interface will provide touchscreen virtual keyboard operating. Multiple smartphone
themes are switchable.

Sony Xperia Z L36i would configure a 1.5GHz

micro-SD card slot.

LTE 4G network connection, NFC and
Bluetooth 4.0 are all supported.
Battery
The smartphone is rumored to come with either
a 2500mAh or a 2800mAh battery, unmovable but might get wireless charging.
Other
functions
Just like previous Sony smartphones, this
new smartphone would also own the waterproof and dustproof functions. Also, the
Clear Audio+ technology included would produce excellent audio experience. Meanwhile,
Sony would provide black, white and purple versions of this smartphone for
users.
