The upcoming 2012 action film
featuring John Carter, the heroic
protagonist of Edgar Rice Burroughs'
11-volume Barsoom series, John Carter will be theatrical debut in
two weeks away, setting on March 9th in United States. This film is the first
live-action featured film directed by the two-time Academy Award winning
director Andrew Stanton (Finding
Nemo and Wall-E). Right before the official theatrical release, Disney promoted
another official movie trailer for movie fans to make a sneak preview of John

The preview clip includes a suspenseful,
action-packed scene set in a gladiatorial arena on Barsoom (Mars), where Civil
War veteran John Carter (Taylor Kitsch)
has found himself stranded, but empowered by the lesser gravity of the Red
Planet. It's not all fighting "white apes" and leaping through the
air for Kitsch, though, as revealed in the new "John and Dejah"
featurette, which briefly examines the love affair between John Carter and the
Martian Princess Dejah Thoris (Lynn
Collins), a "match made in the cosmos," according to Stanton.
