One of the main advantages of the 5.5" 16M-color FullHD (1080 x 1920 pixels) True HD-IPS+ LCD capacitive touchscreen LG Optimus G Pro smartphone is that people could watch full HD movie on LG Optimus G Pro with superb visual effect. Some people may want to watch MKV movies on LG Optimus G Pro, but only to find the MKV movies couldn’t be played back on the smartphone. Quite obvious, the Optimus G Pro doesn’t support MKV format. Samsung announced waterproof and dust-resistant Galaxy Xcover 2 smartphone with excellent performance underwater

The concern about Samsung has been mostly put on the upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S IV. Right before the official release of Samsung Galaxy S IV, Samsung has brought another handset to comfort its fans, the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2. The Xcover 2 can survive under up to 1m of water for as long as 30 minutes and take 720p underwater footage @ 30fps with its 5MP camera. Compared to other waterproof smartphones like Xperia Z, the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2 doesn’t get the top-of-the-line specs. Samsung confirmed to release the upcoming Galaxy S IV in New York City on March 14th

Earlier from the day of the Samsung Galaxy S III release, people had been rumoring about the release date and detailed specs of Galaxy S IV. According to the previous rumors and reports, Samsung Galaxy S IV would be announced on March 14th. Now, after so long a waiting, the widely rumored Samsung Galaxy S IV has finally been confirmed to appear in the very upcoming March 14th Samsung event in New York City, according to Samsung’s official paper invitations sent to various media presses.
Samsung Galaxy S IV invitation
According to the news from Samsung’s official Facebook account, the next flagship would be mostly called as Samsung Galaxy S IV, which has been proved by the paper invites. On the paper invitations, Samsung invited media presses to be “Ready 4 The Show”, and “Come and Meet The Next Galaxy”. For people who haven’t received the invitations and still focus on the media press event, Samsung will open liveStream on YouTube. People could check www.youtube.com/SamsungMobile to watch the show.

As for the detailed specs of Samsung Galaxy S IV, it is reported to come with higher resolution screen display, higher camera pixels and quad-core processor. The 4.99" FHD (1920x1080 pixels) Solux screen display would deliver amazing visual effect for people to play HD movies on Galaxy S IV. The 1.95GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor with 2GB RAM would no doubt produce smooth and fluent operating performance. The 13MP camera supports HD video recording. The new flagship is also available in three versions: 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.

Sony Officially Released the Simplicity and Ease of Use of the Next-Generation PlayStation, but just No Real PS4 Box

After so long the waiting is and so many the rumors are, Sony finally officially released its next generation of PlayStation, namely PS4, on the New York City Sony PlayStation event, but only with tons of awesome looking games, not the PS4 box itself. There’re specs of the PS4 and the PS4 console was also unveiled, but what the PS4 would look like is still to be detailed.  On the release event, Sony said only that the PS4 will be available in time for the 2013 holiday season while pricing was not mentioned (some rumors suggested the price to be $439 with November shipment).
PS4
"PlayStation 4 will unleash imaginations to create next-gen experiences that surpass gamers' wildest expectations, while also allowing developers to explore other business models," Andrew House, president and Group CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment, said at a launch event. The PS4 is "founded on a conviction that we must give gamers the kind of multi-dimensional experiences they expect and observe."

Of course, during the official debut, Sony also mentioned the specs of PlayStation 4. The new PlayStation will have an X86 processor, "state of the art" GPU, 8 GB of high-speed unified memory, and a hard drive for local storage. The PS4 will allow gamers to share their gameplay stream and even remotely take control of friend's games. The downloading could be running in background while playing in PS4. Additionally, PS4 boasts integration with third-party services, phones, and tablets -- you'll be able to use your smartphone to view gameplay videos and challenge friends. Along with the PS4, Sony has unveiled a new DualShock 4 controller which features a built-in touchpad at the center of the controller, and a built-in microphone jack.

Samsung Galaxy S IV is set to be officially released on March 14th with 8 core processor and 5 inch screen

Though there’re so many rumors on the official debut of Samsung Galaxy S IV, none has been confirmed. After so long the waiting was, the latest new reports have begun making the rounds suggesting a date on which the Samsung Galaxy S IV could make its official debut. The rumblings began when Eldar Murtazin of Russian site mobile-review tweeted earlier today that we should "save the date for a big announcement" on March 14. Murtazin didn't say that he was referring to the Galaxy S IV, but SamMobile suggested that that was the case, and now The Verge has been told by its own sources that March 14 is "definitely" the day that Samsung is planning to introduce its new flagship. The event is expected to take place in the U.S.
Samsung Galaxy S IV is coming
As for the Galaxy S IV itself, The Verge's tipsters claim that Samsung is working hard to keep the new device's design a secret, much like it did with the Galaxy S III. Samsung is likely to be focusing on its own special features with the device, though, and the device's new feature set is said to be a bigger improvement over the Galaxy S III's than we saw in the jump from the Galaxy S II to the Galaxy S III. The specs of the new Galaxy smartphone are still a mystery, but previous reports have claimed that the S IV could feature a 2,600mAh battery, 8-core processor and 4.99-inch 1080p display.

While we'll obviously have to wait for an official announcement from Samsung before this March 14 event is official, it wouldn't be a huge shock to see the company ask us to save that date for it. Samsung announced the Galaxy S III at a big event in London in early May last year, and considering how popular the Galaxy S III has become, I'm sure that Sammy would like to hold another major blowout for the Galaxy S IV. It appears that Samsung may have decided to move its Galaxy S IV announcement up a bit from last year, which will place the event a month after HTC's One gathering and two weeks after Mobile World Congress wraps up. Looks like Samsung wants to take control of the smartphone news cycle as we head into the spring.

HTC M7 reportedly to arrive on AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile earlier than Verizon

The HTC M7 is expected to be the Taiwan-based handset manufacturer's flagship Android phone for 2013. In an era of handsets wearing similar 5 inch panels with FHD resolution and pixel density of 441ppi, the HTC M7 allegedly gets off the 5 inch train, but in doing so, comes up with a screen that might top the competition for clarity and sharpness. With a rumored smaller 4.7 inch screen, the FHD resolution on the HTC M7 would provide a pixel density of a whopping 468ppi, which delivers amazing video effect for people to watch videos on HTC M7. And just on case you are comparing the numbers to the Apple iPhone 5, that device has a Retina display of 326ppi.
HTC M7
It doesn't take much imagination to see that the HTC M7 just might grab plenty of attention thanks to that display, the same way that the HTC DROID DNA has become a popular model at Verizon. Meanwhile, a highly reliable source for HTC Source is telling the site that the HTC M7 will be offered by T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T on the U.S. launch day.  Are we leaving someone out? Let's see. T-Mobile. AT&T. Sprint. Ah yes, we left out Verizon. Actually, there is a reason for that.

According to the source, for reasons not revealed at this time, The HTC M7 is delayed for Verizon. Perhaps with the big ad campaign that Big Red has for the HTC DROID DNA, the carrier sees no reason to rush out a new flagship model. Just yesterday, we passed along the water cooler report which suggests that the HTC M7 will launch March 8th in both black and white, and most likely in Europe first. The gossip says that the U.S. carriers will release the phone a few weeks later. That is, with the exception of Verizon, if this speculation pans out.

HTC's press event is coming on February 19th and we should learn a lot more about the HTC M7 on that date, including the U.S. launch schedule.

Sony invites seemed to suggest a February 20 release event of the next PlayStation – PS4

For long, we have been longing for the new PlayStation device, just like that of Xbox 720. Preciously, the PS4 has been rumored to get brand-new handlers and multi-account. But yet, such expectations are not official. Sony has never talked about the detailed specs of PS4 and the official release date. But now, it seems to be quite near around. While the PS4's name hasn't been specifically dropped, the Official U.S. PlayStation Blog, PlayStation Facebook, and PlayStation Twitter all sent out notifications to "See the Future" of PlayStation with the following phrase: Join the conversation #PlayStation2013 #PlayStationMeeting."
Sony PS4 event
The invites all pointed an exact date of "February 20" at 6 p.m. EST, which has been strongly supposed to be the time Sony CEO Kaz Hirai or U.S. PlayStation boss Jack Tretton will go on stage to show off Sony's next-gen console. The online "PlayStation Meeting 2013" hub also lets people sign up so they'll "be the first to know", which again seems to make proof for the official unveiling of PS4.
