Facebook Phone Based on Mozilla Firefox OS to Be Released in the Latter Half of 2013

The rumors about the new Facebook Phones have continued for a long time. Just recently, Mozilla Hispano has an interesting post on its blog today: “Facebook Phone OS based on Firefox“. On a rough translation of the blog post to English, it is mainly about the operating system and the official release date of the rumored Facebook phones. The post goes to say that Mozilla and Facebook have reached an agreement to distribute a Facebook Phone in the latter half of 2013 and that the phone is based on Firefox OS. It’s illustrated with a handset decked out in Facebook blue and white with a log in prompt on the screen in Polish and Facebook Inc. stamped on the back.

iPhone 5 Adds Surprise to 2012 Christmas Gift, Sales Tops on Black Friday

With Christmas 2012 just around the corner, we take a look at the best deals on the Apple iPhone 5.

Apple Inc said it sold more than 2 million of its new iPhone 5 in China during the three days after its launch there on Friday last week, marking China's best-selling iPhone rollout ever. Apple's latest iPhone made its global debut with a launch in the United States and 30 other countries in September, selling more than 5 million in its first three days on the market. When will iPhone 5 sales reach its peak, some predict it on Black Friday 2012.

When it comes to Black Friday New iPhone 5 sales all customers must be willing to recognize that supply and demand determine price. With many users of the iPhone 4S up for a new phone with a contract renewal it may be the case that the iPhone 5 is the most popular selling cell phone or smart phone in history.

Apple iPhone 5

With that being the case it will be highly unlikely that the iPhone 4S will be marked down at all for the 2012 Christmas holiday shopping season. Even though this is true it is still possible that this will be the hottest Christmas 2012 gift of the 10 years especially iPhone 16GB. Over the next few months we will get to hear much more about the new Apple iPhone 5 but as for now we can expect to see full prices for this piece of technology even during the Black Friday sales event.

WHAT IS NEW in iPhone 5?

iPhone 5 finally breaks with the 3.5 inch screen size, and grows the screen to 4 inches. That is a big change but is nowhere near the biggest screen out there. The screen dimensions change to 16:9 format so the iPhone keeps the same width but is noticeably longer and helps make watching video on iPhone 5 better.

The camera stays at 8mp in nominal size but adds plenty of clever gimmicks and tricks and software, including a panorama photo feature that allows taking super-wide pictures running 28mp.

LTE is the new top speed in terms of cellular connectivity. It is important in some markets especially the US market and brings the iPhone 5 to be on par with top-end smartphones, this is also good.

It’s a bit thinner, a bit lighter, its battery runs longer. Yeah, these are improvements that mostly make it seem like an iPhone 4S+.

Tips for You to Prepare a Christmas Themed Party

Christmas is getting close. Whether you are still in the midst of the last minute Christmas newsletter design, or just want to spice up the desktop a little bit, chances are there’s always something for everyone. Buying a Christmas gift for your friend or family is one way to celebrate the Christmas holiday. Having a Christmas party can be one of the best parts of the season, however, instead of going the traditional route, consider throwing one with a theme. It may take a little more work to put together, but it can result in even more fun. Many of the Christmas party theme ideas are appropriate for adults as well as kids and are sure to have your guests thoroughly in the Christmas spirit.
Christmas party
We have everything you could possibly desire for your Christmas Party this year. Make some preparations before you choose a Christmas theme.

1. Choose a favorite holiday movie and revolve the theme around the characters, setting, and plot. A few movies to pick from are A Christmas Story, Bad Santa, Elf, A Christmas Carol. It's a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street.
2. Have every couple dress up as Santa and Mrs. Claus and bring the kids as little elves.
3. Celebrate one of the biggest winter holidays in the Caribbean! A unique idea for Christmas themed parties is a luau complete with leis, palm trees, tropical foods and BBQ, and island-inspired decorations.
4. Make the Christmas party a black tie affair and give everyone an excuse to dress up. Serve tasty appetizers, stock the bar, hire local party staff, and let friends and family feel like celebrities.
5. Christmas theme ideas for holiday parties don't have to be traditional. Pick a favorite bar or restaurant and simply throw an informal cocktail party. Ask each guest to bring a toy or present to donate to an important cause and use this opportunity to catch up before all the holiday craziness.

Some Christmas party themes for reference:

1. Winter Wonderland Theme
What can you expect from this type of party? Well, there will be snow falling through the reception, brilliant snow white drapes and lighting to bring the scene to life with back drops that make the venue feel you are in Lapland.

Another great bonus of the best Winter Wonderland style parties is the ice rink dance floor and DJ! It would be impossible to not have fun especially seeing as some parties even include elves that will join the party.

2. Chocolate Factory style
What to expect at this style of party? You will find yourself in a land of lollipops and candy canes, Oompa Loompas and cocktails amongst giant toadstools and flowers! Wonka bars will be aplenty and of course a 3 course meal before you hit the dance floor.

3. Las Vegas Glam Parties
What to expect from this style of party? You will see giant golden palm trees and Vegas paraphernalia such as an Elvis figure and Vegas signs. What’s most cool about this type of party is the Elvis impersonator and casino tables where you can let loose and watch your colleagues go wild.

At last, wish you all a fantastic Christmas party…

Top 5 Christmas gift ideas for Christmas 2012

With Christmas songs ringing out in streets and shopping malls, the Christmas again is just around the corner. As the most popular holiday of the year, one thing is unavoidable. That is to give Christmas gifts to friends or family members. It’s always tough deciding what to get for people as Christmas gift – either you know the person well enough to know what they’d like, but they seem to have everything already, or you’re not quite sure what they want and you’re worried you’ll get the wrong thing. So, I decided to come up with a list of foolproof items that make great gifts. The below are several popular Christmas gift ideas. You can check them all and get the one you like most for your friend or family.
Merry Christmas 2012
Flowers: Of course, you can never go wrong with flowers! When you are invited to Christmas dinner, a simple one candle floral centerpiece is a great way to say "thank-you". Or a simple hand-wrapped flower for the host or hostess to place in a simple vase can never go wrong.

Christmas gift cards: A well designed Christmas gift card is somewhat the most popular Christmas gift for family and friend. Though this idea is quite traditional, it is really useful. Commonly, the traditional christmas card would be considered "inpersonal". However, with a little thought and effort, you can make the Christmas gift card more personal with DIY work. You can directly add something new to the finished christmas gift card or even design the christmas card by yourself. This would make it more meaningful.

Books or magazines: Everyone loves to read, but perhaps not everyone loves to read the same thing. Some people prefer non-fiction, others prefer fiction. Some prefer comic books, others prefer magazines. Work out what your friend or gift recipient is into and then buy a book or a magazine that matches their interest.

DVD disc: If your friend is a movie enthusiast, a DVD disc of his favorite movie would also be great christmas gift. You can buy various DVD movies, which would cost a large amount of money. A money-saving way to do this is to create DVD movies by making use of your video collection and blank DVD discs. You only need a DVD burning program with this way. A Christmas BOGOF campaign is recommended here, which requires you to buy a Total Media Converter Ultimate program and then you can get a free DVD creator. Though buying the program would cost you about $50, it still saves money for you when compared with the idea of buying expensive DVD discs for your friends directly.

iPhone 5 case: If your friend has an iPhone 5, an iPhone 5 case would no doubt be great. The iPhone 5 is without question a lovely gadget for every owner. But iPhone may easily get scratched by sharp keys in pocket or bags. A case for iPhone 5 would protect the back part from being scratched.

Users who have rooted their Nexus 4 could upgrade Android 4.2 via OTA. It is noted that this OTA update is available in batch process. New features anticipated to be included in Android 5 OS

Along with the Android 4.2 update, there have been anticipations on the next Android OS. The next generation of Android OS is mostly rumored as Android 5, with a codename of Key Lime Pie. Actually, the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean already brought us some powerful and useful features. Thus, in the next generation, what would people long for? After a survey, the below are about some anticipations collected from some people. Here I would like to feature some of those that made more sense to us. Well, it couldn’t be promised that they'll be noticed by Google or anything, but it's a start! At least more things will surely be learned about the ways people would like to see the platform evolve. Let's take a closer look at these anticipations.
Android 5
1. From IHateApple, “WebOS like multitasking, a "Lite" version for older/cheaper phones (like Galaxy Mini, Xperia Tipo etc.), Siri like assistant, and MOST IMPORTANTLY an option to remove manufacturer customizations.”

2. From MANSBH, “Lots of thing need to be done, for the time being I want to request to improve in Calls Option "Black List". At the time of creation of Black List from Contacts we have to include one by one, it will be perfect to add required numbers in one time process by clicking them.  Thanks”

3. From ilia1986, “I'd love to see a dedicated memory manager which would allow the user to set which apps can be killed whenever the phone is running our of Ram and which apps cannot. Also, battery improvements would be nice via native smart management. For example - when phone connected to Wifi - shut down data. When phone is asleep - shut down screen orientation sensor, etc.”

4. From tumchaaditya, “Offline maps for entire country.. With 16+GBs of memory, the size is certainly not an issue anymore.. I doubt maps for even USA will exceed 5GB(ofcourse excluding satellite and street-view data). and ofcourse, the rumored project roadrunner.”

These above four features are listed here for they’re mostly anticipated to be included in the next generation. And what’s your anticipation? Maybe you can also share your own one in the comment part to make your idea known to Google or anything else.
